This second survey was part of the Vermont Forest Future Strategic Roadmap project. This survey gathered important input on the concept of the least desired, expected, and preferred futures for the Vermont forest economy.

During the strategic roadmap planning process, an important priority has been to encourage strong community and industry stakeholder engagement. Following the Think-Tank workshops, a series of approximately 15 community and industry stakeholder workshops, and agency roundtables were held through February, March, and April. These were held as a mixture of in-person and virtual sessions. In addition, an online version of the workshop was offered, with an instructional video. These sessions reviewed the outcomes of the Think-Tank workshops, and invited participants to take a post-workshop survey, where they were asked their thoughts on the future scenarios.
