CURRENT PERFORMANCE OF MIDDLE GEORGIA IN ADOPTING INDUSTRY 4.0 TECHNOLOGIES

Respondents were asked to respond to a question about the current performance of industries and companies in the Middle Georgia region in relating to adopting Industry 4.0 technologies and future innovations. The question was:

For Industries and companies in the Middle Georgia region, how would you rate current performance in adopting Industry 4.0 technologies and future innovations?

Scale: 1 = Very poor; 10 = Excellent

Key things to note:

  • Respondents felt that industries and companies in the Middle Georgia Region were neither poor or excellent at adopting Industry 4.0 technologies and future innovations.
  • Respondents tended to opt for 5-8 on the scale.
  • This could reflect a lack of knowledge of what technologies industries and companies across the region are adopting. This could indicate a lack of innovation ecosystem in relation to Industry 4.0 technologies and a lack of sharing knowledge.
