Stage Organizations are Adopting Industry 4.0 Technologies

STAGE ORGANIZATIONS ARE ADOPTING INDUSTRY 4.0 TECHNOLOGIES

Respondents were asked to respond to a question about organizations stage of adoption of Industry 4.0 technologies. The question was:

What stage are you at, in terms of applying the following Industry 4.0 technologies?

Scale: 1 = Not even thinking about yet; 10 = Already fully integrated into our operations

Key things to note:

The majority of organizations are “not even thinking about” adopting Material Science and Product Innovation or Digital Manufacturing/Digital Engineering yet.
This reflects the findings regarding the usage and preparedness of Industry 4.0 technologies in the Middle Georgia region. Material Science and Product Innovation and Digital Manufacturing/Digital Engineering are two technologies that organizations in the region are currently using the least. They are also two technologies that the organizations in the region are seen to be least prepared to incorporate.
