IMPORTANCE OF ORGANIZATIONS EMBRACING INDUSTRY 4.0 TECHNOLOGIES

Respondents were asked to respond to a question about the importance of organizations embracing Industry 4.0 technologies. The question was:

How important it is for your organization to embrace and be ready for the following specific Industry 4.0 technologies?

Scale: 1= Not Important; 10= Critically Important

Key things to note:

The majority of organizations felt that it was critically important to embrace and be ready for the Industry 4.0 technologies, with the exception of Material science and Product Innovation.
This was the technology that organizations are using the least. This could represent a lack of knowledge about this particular technology and its subsequent relevance.
