Importance and Urgency – Cohort by Strategic Pillar

Importance of the Strategic Pillars (X Axis) x Urgency to take action on Strategic Pillars (Y Axis)

This chart combines responses to two questions to create an interactive scatter plot. This chart presents the results based on the strategic pillars. You can hover over the chart to reveal more information on each circle.
The chart is structured as follows:

  • X-Axis is the response to the question “How important do you think each of these strategic pillars are to shaping the future of University City?”. The scale is: 1 = Not at all important; 10 = Critically important to the future
  • X-Axis is the response to the question “How urgent do you think it is for community leadership to take action on each of these strategic pillars?” The scale is: 1 =Not urgent right now; 10 = Critically urgent right now

Key things to note:

  • Respondents felt that the Education and Schools strategic pillar was both the most important, and where there was most urgency to take action.
  • Olive Boulevard Redevelopment was seen as the second most important strategic pillar, which required urgency to take action.
  • Although considered both important and urgent, Strategic Partnerships was seen as the least important strategic pillar and least urgent to take action.
