Welcome to the VISIT FLORIDA Network Mapping Survey Data Visualization Platform

This platform gives access to the data gathered from the VISIT FLORIDA Network Mapping Survey which ran through August 2022. Sixty-eight individuals from the Outdoor and Adventure Travel, as identified by VISIT FLORIDA, completed the survey.

The survey aimed to explore both Stakeholder Analysis and Eco-System Network Mapping across the State of Florida in relation to Outdoor and Adventure Travel. The main goal of the Florida Adventure Travel Network is to develop a clear path for success to help increase Florida’s positioning and recognition in the global Outdoor and Adventure travel sector.

Survey respondents answered a series of questions about their organization and were then asked ranking and an open ended question about potential, preparedness and demand for Outdoor and Adventure Travel in Florida. These responses formed the Stakeholder Analysis Charts.

Survey respondents were then asked questions about who they collaborate with to develop Outdoor and Adventure Travel products and experiences, and who do they go to for expert advice and knowledge in this area. These responses made up the Network Maps. Finally survey respondents were asked who needed to be included in the network map.

There are filters on left hand side of the network maps to show collaboration patterns, expertise and who is missing from the network. There are also filters that show each network member and their individual network maps in relation to collaboration patterns and expertise.

You may navigate the charts by clicking the links below or by hovering over “Results” on the main menu.
