Workforce Attraction and Development

Workforce Attraction (X-Axis) x Workforce Development (Y-Axis)
This chart combines responses to two questions to create an interactive scatter plot. This chart presents the average results based on all respondents. You can hover over the chart to reveal more information on each circle. The chart is structured as follows:

  • X-Axis is the response to the question “Littleton has a significant influx of people who commute into the city to work. When thinking about supporting future workforce development in Littleton, how important is it for the city to concentrate workforce development efforts on attracting and bringing in more skilled labor for businesses from outside of the city?” (Scale: 1 = Not at all important; 10 = Very important)
  • Y-Axis is the response to the question “Littleton has a significant number of people who commute from the city to work elsewhere every day. When thinking about supporting future workforce development in Littleton, how important is it for the city to concentrate workforce development efforts on providing more opportunities to the local and regional workforce such as training and upskilling to support local businesses?” (Scale: 1 = Not at all important; 10 = Very important)

Key things to note:

  • The size of the circle denotes the popularity of the response. It is clear from this graph that the majority of respondents participants considered workforce attraction and development to be important, although there were some who did not consider the approach to workforce development very important.
  • The responses can be filtered according to respondent age, years lived and/or worked in Littleton, zip code, ethnicity, and stakeholder affiliation.
