About the Study

Park City is conducting a planning study to define the future development character and opportunities for a City-owned 5-acre site within Bonanza Park.

The site boundaries are defined by Bonanza Drive, Park Avenue, Kearns Boulevard, and Deer Valley Drive. A new process guided by the Park City community, the intention of this study is to create a vision for the area that reflects the desires of Park City residents, businesses, and stakeholders, and is supportive of existing neighborhood character in the area.

This effort will consider the needs and wants of the community and will be grounded by market reality and feasibility, including but not limited to changes in the economic market, affordable housing, transportation and mobility, and site accessibility. A robust engagement process will ensure that a diverse range of voices are heard throughout the planning process, with many opportunities for feedback on ideas and materials produced by the project team.

Previous land use studies will be considered and referenced. These documents can be accessed in the “Resources” section of the menu. This list will likely grow throughout the project and will be updated on an as-needed basis.

We hope you stay involved and help us craft a vision for this critical site in the heart of Bonanza Park, which is undergoing its own Small Area Plan as a separate, but related planning study.
