With community engagement at its core, this plan re-imagines Bonanza Park as a more walkable, mixed-use, and livable community that continues to serve and be home to Parkites of all ages, incomes, and backgrounds. Over 1,500 Park City voices helped shape the ideas and concepts in this plan.
Over 1,500 Park City Voices were engaged over the course of this planning process. To read more about these important stakeholders, all three phases, and key findings from Phase III, check out the summary below.
The final Community Meeting was hosted in the Jim Santy Auditorium at the Park City Library on April 9, 2024 at 5:30 p.m. This meeting included a presentation followed by activities and one-on-one conversations to provide your feedback. Hear from attendees, see the presentations given, and learn more below!
The Phase II Online Surveys were a follow up to the Phase II Community Meeting on October 18. The surveys received 250 responses, 81% of which did not attend the second community meeting. The results of these surveys have been incorporated into the Community Engagement Phase II Results presentation available below. Materials on the Phase II Community meeting are also available if you’d like to review those discussions in context of the survey results.
On October 18, the Bonanza Park planning process held the second round of major community engagement. This included a session with high school students, a Bonanza Park site tour with about 50 community members, and an open community meeting.
The Bonanza Park Small Area Plan and the 5-Acre Site Feasibility Study both kicked off with surveys open between July 19 and August 4. The results are in, with over 700 responses submitted!
