“As we think about housing and urban design in Essex Junction, what are your thoughts on the approach the city should take?” Please select your preference on the following continuum:
SCALE: 1 = Allow market forces to dictate development; to 10 = City should intentionally guide development and take a more active approach in tackling housing issues.

Key things to note:

Respondents opted for 7-10 on the continuum which represented a leaning towards the City intentionally guiding development and taking a more active approach in tackling housing issues.
There wasn’t any visible differences between age groupings and where people live in response to this question.
