Current Use of Transportation

Respondents were asked about their household’s typical use levels of different types of transportation. The options were: Carpool, Drive Alone, Ride a bicycle, Ride with parent/guardian, Take Public Transit, Take the Bus, Walk and Other.

Key things to note:

From the responses, Carpooling is never/rarely used in Smithville, as is use of public transit.
Most of the respondents ‘Drive Alone’.
A large number of respondents opted for N/A and those who opted for ‘Other’ noted disability issues regarding transit.
