Welcome to the Smithville Transportation Master Plan Community Survey Data Visualization Platform

This platform gives access to the data gathered from the Smithville Transportation Master Plan online Community Survey. The City of Smithville is developing a Transportation Master Plan that will build on the City’s Comprehensive Plan and the new Parks and Recreation Master Plan to specifically address transportation issues, develop solutions, and chart a course for funding and construction over the next 10-20 years. This platform showcases the responses to profiling questions, levels of transportation use, ideas for investment into future transportation as well as open ended responses to the impact of Covid-19 on transportation and ideas for future emphasis on location of transportation issues.

You may navigate the charts by clicking the links below or by hovering over “Data Visualization” on the main menu.

Key things to note:

  • The participation rate was impressive with 401 responses
  • Cohorts are defined as major groups in the community that share similar profiles such as age group, type of household, type of property, time lived in Smithville and relationship to Smithville.
  • You can download a PDF of each page by selecting the download tab at the bottom of the chart.
