Two Community Collaboration Sessions were held on June 6 and 8 at Madison College and attended by over 30 people. These sessions were a great opportunity for more in-depth back and forth conversations between the 115th Fighter Wing and the Madison community. There was a fantastic panel discussion covering issues of concern to some of the people of Madison. These included flight schedules, noise mitigation, community and national benefits and building stronger collaboration between the 115th Fighter Wing and the community.
Panel members included Leslie Westmont, Wisconsin Department of Military Affairs; Col. Bart Van Roo, 115th Fighter Wing; Col. Ben Gerds, 115th Fighter Wing Operations Group; and Chris “Desi” Arenz, Badger Air Community Council.
These Community Collaboration sessions will lead to more engagement opportunities and further ways for mutual collaboration. Thursday, June 6’s session was broadcast live on YouTube. Use the link below to view the recording.
