Project Schedule

Round 2 TAP Grant – Dates of service under Round 2 of the TAP Grant run from August 1, 2024 – June 30, 2026.

Future iQ has been contracted to serve as Technical Assistance Provider (TAP) to AFMN in Round 2 of the grant process. The grant will involve the following activities over the life of the project:

  • Support 3-5 Community Grant Applicants as they apply for an AFMN Community Grant.
  • Help promote the grant opportunity to potential grant applicants.
  • Provide technical assistance to 3-5 AFMN Community Grantees over the course of their grant projects.
  • Attend/participate in TAP Grantee meetings facilitated by AFMN.
  • Attend/participate in 2 statewide convenings in 2024 and potentially in 2025 and/or 2026.
  • Design and develop promotional materials and messaging to support the rollout and implementation of the Blueprint.
  • Design and develop promotional materials and messaging to assist in getting the word out about AFMN and its new statewide age-friendly framework.
  • Report and other document writing for AFMN.

The dates of service under Round 1 of the TAP Grant ran from January 4, 2023 – June 30, 2024.

Future iQ was contracted to serve in two capacities as a Technical Assistance Provider to AFMN Community Grantees for the life of the contract:

  • Future iQ will support and advise five AFMN Community Grantees that are utilizing their grant funding to make their organization or community more age-friendly and better places for Minnesotans to grow older.
  • Future iQ will present in-person and recorded sessions as part of AFMN events and conferences. The sessions are intended to help build the capacity of Community Grantees and other entities.
