Future iQ is one of 14 Minnesota organizations to serve as Technical Assistance Provider (TAP) to advance age-friendly efforts across the state of Minnesota. This second round expands funding across six areas, including Tribal engagement, cultural community empowerment, and Minnesota’s Multisector Blueprint for Aging. Grant projects will run from August 2024 through June 2026.
The Age-Friendly Minnesota (AFMN) Council, in cooperation with the MN Department of Human Services, is offering Technical Assistance Provider Grants and Community Grants to help communities and organizations work on age-friendly projects and become better places for all Minnesotans to grow older. The Council is committed to making Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Accessibility (DEIA) the foundation of AFMN, including this grants program. TAP Grantees will serve in an advisory role to AFMN Community Grantees to help carry out grant-funded projects.
