Current Direction and Speed of Change – combined chart

This chart is a pivot chart, that plots respondent’s answers to the questions about:

CURRENT DIRECTION – How happy or concerned are you about the current direction of Traverse City?
CURRENT SPEED OF CHANGE – How happy or concerned are you about the current speed of change in Traverse City?

In both questions, the scale was -5 = Very concerned to +5 = Very happy. This type of plot helps identify the level of sentiment or perception in both these topics.

Key things to note:

There is a significant group of responses that are in the concerned / concerned quadrant (in the lower left quadrant).
The levels concern about direction and sped of change are elevated in the older demographic groups. The levels of happiness about direction and sped of change are higher in the younger demographics.
