The strategic planning process thus far had involved extensive community and stakeholder outreach including a survey, Think-Tank workshop, Community Visioning Sessions, and a Strategic Round Table.
To explore the key themes that had arisen through the process so far, six Focus Group sessions were held between February 18 and 20. These 2-hour facilitated Focus Groups covered topics identified as critical to the future of Traverse City. A key part of the strategic planning process, the Focus Groups explored six draft strategic pillars, helping to synthesize community and stakeholder input from the engagement so far.
