One of the initial steps in the process was the City of Sugar Land Strategic Action Plan Think-Tank, held on Thursday September 5 and Saturday September 7. Over 100 committed people attended both days and contributed their time and knowledge to the scenario-planning process.
The City of Sugar Land Strategic Plan Think-Tank was held in two parts at T.E. Harman Center, 226 Matlage Way, Sugar Land, TX 77478.
The City of Sugar Land Strategic Action Plan Think-Tank explored key drivers shaping the future of the City of Sugar Land and informed a range of possible future scenarios. Conducted as two highly participatory 3-hour workshops, using scenario-based strategic planning, these workshops produced plausible futures for the City of Sugar Land looking out over the next 2-5 years. This ultimately will begin to identify the City’s future strategic positioning and broad vision.
