Future Direction – Scenario Validation – Cohort Summary

This chart also plots the two key topic responses over the scenario matrix. In this case, the data is grouped into cohorts based on age and location people live. By hovering over each bubble, the number of responses is revealed. The data can be filtered using the profile questions on the right hand side of the chart. In addition, the dashed line represents the median or average, can be selected by the filter on the right hand side.

This method of plotting the importance of actions helps reveal how different groups (cohorts) of stakeholders may view the future direction.

Key things to note:

  • The data also leans to the upper right of the matrix, and the dashed line can show the average and median response. This is different to the broad sentiment cohort chart, which suggests that these action areas might be more tangible to people, or they see more value in these actions than in a broader sentiment about change.
  • The data suggest a reasonable strong cumulative appetite for change, with the cluster of responses higher on the collective importance scale.
