Current Needs Satisfaction

Respondents were asked about MATCH WITH CURRENT NEEDS:

“Currently, how well are your household’s needs being meet by the EXISTING following recreation and park amenities?”

SCALE: -5 Nowhere near meeting needs; 0 = About right; +5 More than enough amenities.

The first chart offers the results in a larger summary grouping. The second chart (scroll down) shows the full data by each point on the scale.

Generally the data skews to either being about right, or not quite meeting existing needs.
The responses are generally consistent across the various categories of recreation and park amenities, but with more of a deficit in Community Events, Leisure Parks and Organized recreational programs and facilities.
Trails and sidewalks offer the best match with current needs.
