The Smithville parks and Recreation Master Plan project is a six month long public process. It aims to produce a 10-year plan for the development and investment in Smithville’s parks and recreation infrastructure and programming.
This platform gives access to the data gathered from the Community Survey which ran from February 19 until March 15, 2021. The Survey endeavours to understand the future of recreation and park needs and desires for the community. On this survey data visualization portal, you can explore how people viewed a range of topics. On the charts, there are filters on the right-hand side. These filters allow you to explore responses by different cohorts within the community respondents. In some charts, you can hover over data points to reveal specific information. This visualization is intended to allow you to explore the data set and see what community members think about a range of key topics. Please note that each chart is loading a lot of information, so it may take a moment to load when you open a chart.
You may navigate the charts by clicking the links below or hovering over “Parks and Recreation – Survey Results” on the main menu.
