The CARES Act (March 2020), made available $5 billion in supplemental Community Development Block Grant (CDBG-CV) funding to prevent, prepare for and respond to the coronavirus. The State of New Hampshire received approximately $14.3M in allocations from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) between 2020 and early 2021. The Community Development Finance Authority (CDFA) is focused on building the capacity of New Hampshire communities to be strong, resilient, vibrant places through investments in people, institutions and systems. This includes the capacity to both proactively and reactively address social, economic and environmental challenges. The aim of this project is to improve existing and develop new program guidance and outreach materials to support access to the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program in New Hampshire.
