THE NEW ENGLAND REGIONAL DEFENSE INDUSTRY COLLABORATION
After a successful Phase 1, the New England Regional Defense Industry Collaboration (NERDIC) has received a grant from the Office of Local Defense Community Collaboration (OLDCC) and is embarking on Phase 2.
NERDIC Phase 2 Kickoff
Defense Industry Maine hosted the Phase 2 Kickoff of NERDIC at the Throttle Car Club in Scarborough, Maine on April 6, 2023.
The kickoff was attended by over 60 people and included technology showcases highlighting defense industrial innovation and spotlight sessions on the latest news, regional successes and advances. The event was an opportunity for NERDIC members to engage with new technologies and build relationships with fellow industry leaders.

The NERDIC Advisory Network is an open information network comprising Industry Members, Manufacturing Extension Partnerships (MEPs), APEX Accelerators, Educational Institutions, and Innovation Centers. This third tier of NERDIC meets with the NERDIC Operational Team and State Leadership quarterly to drive the direction of NERDIC by informing the ecosystem of the opportunities and challenges facing their areas of expertise. They are the voice of the region’s defense industrial base.
