Focus Groups Overview

The first step in the Moab – Tomorrow Together project was the Community Survey, which ran through March 2022. The second step was the Think-Tank, held April 6-7, 2022. The third step was hosting the Community Vision workshops in early June. The next step of the process was the Focus Groups.

Six in-person Focus Groups were held August 1-3. Each focus group concentrated on a particular topic which is critical to the future of Moab. These 90-minute facilitated sessions aimed to build a deeper understanding of each topic and the implications for the future of Moab. As a key part of the visioning process, the Focus Groups synthesized community input from the engagement processes so far and explored a set of crucial questions.

We had over 80 people participate in the Focus Groups. These were people with particular expertise in the Focus Group Topic, or had a real interest in the topic.
