Importance of Vision and Values – Years Lived/Worked in Moab

Importance of Vision and Values – Years lived/worked in Moab cohort
Importance of Shared Vision (X Axis) x Importance of Shared Values (Y Axis)
This chart combines responses to two questions to create an interactive scatter plot. This chart presents the results via years lived/worked in Moab. You can hover over the chart to reveal more information on each circle.

The chart is structured as follows:

  • X-Axis is the response to the question “How important is it to have a SHARED VISION for the future of Moab?”. The scale is: 1 = Not Important; 10 = Highly Important
  • Y-Axis is the response to the question “How important do you think it is to identify SHARED VALUES for the community of Moab?”. The scale is: 1 = Not Important; 10 = Highly Important

Key things to note:

  • The average response is between 7-9 on the Vision question and 6.5 to 8.5 on the Values question.
  • While the responses to the Vision question from each cohort were quite similar, those who had lived/worked the least amount of time in Moab felt that it was more important to have a shared vision. This is indicated by those who had lived/worked in Moab for 0-5 years being further along the scale towards 10 – Very important. This cohort was followed by those who had lived/worked in Moab for 6-10 years, then 11-20 years, etc. The anomaly were those who have lived and worked in Moab for 41 or more years who were the third cohort to see the greater importance of a shared vision.
  • This chart can be filtered according to age grouping, residency, ethnicity, time spent in Moab each year and how long the individual has lived and worked in Moab.
