Importance of Vision and Values – Time Spent in Moab

Importance of Vision and Values – Time Spent in Moab cohort
Importance of Shared Vision (X Axis) x Importance of Shared Values (Y Axis)
This chart combines responses to two questions to create an interactive scatter plot. This chart presents the results via Time spent in Moab. You can hover over the chart to reveal more information on each circle.

The chart is structured as follows:

  • X-Axis is the response to the question “How important is it to have a SHARED VISION for the future of Moab?”. The scale is: 1 = Not Important; 10 = Highly Important
  • Y-Axis is the response to the question “How important do you think it is to identify SHARED VALUES for the community of Moab?”. The scale is: 1 = Not Important; 10 = Highly Important

Key things to note:

  • The average response is between 7.5 to 8.5 on the Vision question and 6.5 to 8.5 on the Values question.
  • The cohort who live in Moab 6-12 months a year felt that it was more important than the other cohorts, to have both shared values and a shared vision.
  • The cohort who live in Moab less than 1 month a year, while still feeling it important to have shared values and a shared vision, did not feel as strongly as the other cohorts.
  • This may indicate that the longer duration that an individual lives in Moab, the more committed they are to the longer term vision and values.
  • This chart can be filtered according to age grouping, residency, ethnicity, time spent in Moab each year and how long the individual has lived and worked in Moab.
