Living and/or working in Lake Geneva (x-axis) plotted against Community Direction (Y-axis)
This chart combines responses to two questions to create an interactive scatter plot. This chart presents the average results based on all respondents. You can hover over the chart to reveal more information on each circle. The chart is structured as follows:

  • X-axis is the response to the question “How happy are you about living/working in Lake Geneva?” (Scale: -5 – Very unhappy; 0 = Neutral; +5 = Very happy)
  • Y-axis is the response to the question “How do you feel about the overall current direction of Lake Geneva and the changes that are occurring? (Scale: -5 = Very concerned; 0 = Neutral; +5 = Very excited)

Key things to note:

  • The size of the circle denotes the popularity of the response. It is clear from this graph that most people are satisfied with living and/or working in Lake Geneva, however there is a more varying response about satisfaction with the current direction of the City. The reasons for this will be further explored in the strategic planning process.
  • The responses can be filtered according to respondent age, race/ethnicity, length of time lived in Lake Geneva, and length of time worked in Lake Geneva.
