Respondents overwhelmingly value Jasper’s sense of community, its friendliness, safety, low crime and tranquility. Many highlighted Jasper’s location and convenience as being key to job and economic opportunities, especially for those who live and work in Jasper. High-quality of life amenities and schools support a close-knit, family-friendly environment. The Downtown area along with Jasper’s active arts and culture scene are definitely appreciated by respondents, as are the City’s parks, trails, and outdoor recreation opportunities.

Key things to note:

Respondents most appreciate the sense of community and friendliness of the City (358 mentions), followed by safety and low crime (294 mentions), and jobs and economic opportunities (211 mentions).
Respondents also appreciate the Jasper’s small town-feel (166 mentions), the City’s quality of life including its family-friendly and tranquil environment (140 mentions), as well as the City’s cleanliness and upkeep (136 mentions).
