A key part of the Imagine Somerton 2032 strategic planning process was the Think-Tank & Community Open House, held on March 31 and April 1 at the Somerton Community Center. The Somerton community were invited to help build a vision for the future of Somerton, looking out to 2032, through a range of creative and interactive exercises and were able to contribute their ideas over the two sessions.

Our first engagement opportunity was at the Greater Days Festival! The City hosted a booth with Future iQ – keep an eye out to see what attendees had to say about the future of Somerton!
The objective of the Imagine Somerton 2032 strategic planning process is to build on Somerton’s current success and incorporate new actions to maintain this success over the next 5 years. The outcome of this process, running January 2026 through June 2026, will be to produce a robust, comprehensive and sustainable Strategic Plan.
