Role within Industry

Respondents were asked to respond to a question about:

FUTURE PLACE AND ROLE WITHIN THE HEALTHCARE INDUSTRY AND SYSTEM:

“There has been much discussion about the role of the Chiropractic profession and industry within the overall healthcare sector. What do you think would be the ideal future relationship of the profession within the healthcare sector, knowing that choices come with consequences?”

SCALE (1-10):
1 = The profession exists somewhat outside the mainstream healthcare sector.
10 = Chiropractic penetrates and integrates deeply into the healthcare system.

Key things to note:

This data skews strongly to the right-hand side of the continuum, highlighting a desire to move in that direction.
This desire to have greater penetration and integration has been a repeated theme throughout the visioning and planning work.

Survey respondents were also given the opportunity to provide open ended responses, as to ‘WHY’ they chose that point on the scale.
