Future Professional Recruitment

Respondents were asked to respond to a question about:

FUTURE PROFESSIONAL RECRUITMENT:

“The survey results have revealed that the cost of education remains one of the key impediments to recruiting new professionals. In addition, professional compensation can be variable, potentially making the profession less attractive for future professional recruitment. How do you think the industry should tackle future recruitment systems?”

SCALE (1-10):
1 = Leave the existing system as it is.
10 = Bolster profession reputation to trigger more future enrollments.

Key things to note:

  • This data skews relatively to the right-hand side of the continuum, highlighting a desire to move in that direction.
  • This desire ‘Bolster profession reputation to trigger more future enrollments’ has been a repeated theme throughout the visioning and planning work. This focus is seen as critical to the future professional pipeline.

Survey respondents were also given the opportunity to provide open ended responses, as to ‘WHY’ they chose that point on the scale.
