Organizational and Staff Capacity

Respondents were asked to answer this set of questions with the following in mind: Considerable stakeholder input into the strategic planning process over the past five months has identified five Strategic Pillars for the new COSCDA Strategic Action Plan. The Strategic Pillars are the building blocks of the new Strategic Action Plan that will guide organizational decision-making for the next 3 years. Organizational and Staff Capacity: Assessing current programming and staff capacity to meet organizational needs.

Maintaining and developing cutting-edge programming requires a predictable revenue stream and consistent staffing. In order to maintain its leading reputation, COSCDA will need to continue to develop its strong member services and support as needs arise. How important are the following actions to COSCDA’s organizational and staff capacity? (1 = Not at all important; 10 = Critically important)

  • The most important actions to be taken to support COSCDA’s organizational and staff capacity were identified as invest in curriculum development, followed by increase training levels for CDBG to basic, mid-level, and advanced, and equally increase zoom trainings for members to increase access and value and expand training options at conferences and events.
