Appetite and Culture of Change

Respondents were asked: In a rapidly changing world, having openness and interest for change is critical. Are current faculty and staff well-suited to embrace change?

  • SCALE: -5 = Very little appetite for change; 0 = Neutral; +5 = Very strong appetite for change

Key things to note:

  • There is a wide spread of responses with the majority of respondents having a neutral view regarding current faculty and staff being well-suited to embrace change. However there were almost equal views regarding faculty and staff having very little appetite for change and a very strong appetite for change.
  • The staff cohort of respondents are more pessimistic regarding current faculty and staff having an appetite for change, however faculty felt that there more of a strong appetite for change.
  • The responses can be filtered on the right hand side of the chart according to affiliation to Cornell College, length of time associated with Cornell College, gender identification and ethnicity.
