This highly interactive session was held at the Clemson Extension Conference Room, 265 Industrial Park Rd, Abbeville, SC 29620 on Thursday, April 10. The purpose of the session was to create the key strategic focus areas for the Abbeville County 2035 Strategic Plan, which will be launched at the Future Summit in June 2025. With almost 40 attendees, this session was an important step in the planning work. It included an update on the outcomes from the Think-Tank in late February and early March 2025 as well as the Community Engagement sessions in early February 2025. We also reviewed the results from the Community Survey.
The purpose of the session was to identify 5-6 key strategic focus areas that will support the preferred future for the County. The session included initial brainstorming of ideas and possible action steps.
